The first competitive outing of the 2015 FIA WTCC season proved to be a tricky one for Norbert Michelisz and the MOL Group Zengő Motorsport team as conditions were difficult on and off track.

Due to a wet and slippery racing line the drivers had to be extremely careful. On top of that WTCC's official live timing did not work properly which made the 30-minute test session even more of a challenge. Nevertheless, Honda driver Norbi lapped the 4.8 km Autodromo Termas de Rio Hondo in 1:58,438 minutes and classified 11th in the 18-strong field, about 2.3 seconds behind provisional leader Sebastien Loeb (Citroen).

"We had a plan for this session but the weather situation made it impossible for us to see it through", Norbert says. "Basically, it was a system check. The car is running very well but otherwise we did not get too much information as we could not work on the setup properly. I think we drove at about 80 % only. Therefore, we do not have any clue on how the competitive order may look like."

Norbert and the Zengő Motorsport team will take to the track again on Saturday for two practice sessions and the qualifying before taking part in the 2015 WTCC season opening races on Sunday.
