The ultimate race track and a selected few to take up the challenge: Norbert Michelisz and the MOL Group Zengő Motorsport team are about to start their greatest adventure to date. The No. 5 Honda Civic WTCC driver and his crew will be on the grid of the most longed for races of the 2015 FIA WTCC season at the world-famous Nürburgring Nordschleife.
It is the first time in more than 30 years that a FIA World Championship takes to the daunting 25-kilometer track. And the weekend ahead is sure to provide spectacular racing at a truly historic venue.
After he achieved a much-celebrated home victory at the MOL Group WTCC Race of Hungary a fortnight ago, Norbert is keen on adding more World Championship points to his tally at the "Green Hell". And here is what he has to say before rounds 7 & 8 of the 2015 FIA WTCC calendar: "Now it's time to focus on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. After some laps on this legendary circuit I know that the next couple of days will be one of the biggest challenges in my career so far. My main target is to build up confidence with the car and the circuit in practice and to fight for strong points in both races."
