The most difficult race track of them all. And only limited time to prepare for race day. But Norbert Michelisz and the MOL Group Zengő Motorsport team made the most of Thursday's one-hour Test Session at the world-famous Nürburgring-Nordschleife.
The No. 5 Honda Civic WTCC with Norbert at the helm lapped the 25-kilometer track five times, recording a personal best of 8:49,392 minutes and earning the Hungarian outfit P12 in the opening session of the weekend.
This, however, is only the beginning as a track like this needs a lot of attention from everybody involved, with the driver having to build confidence slowly and – most important – safely. And this is exactly what Norbert and his crew did at the 2015 FIA WTCC season highlight venue so far. So watch out as there is more to come!
You can follow Norbert Michelisz and the MOL Group Zengő Motorsport team online at FIAWTCC.com where live timing will be provided for all sessions. Eurosport will broadcast both races live or time-delayed on TV.
