A tough day at the office, but what a result: Norbert Michelisz and the MOL Group Zengő Motorsport team scored their second top 5 result in the 2015 FIA WTCC season at Vila Real. The fast street circuit proved to be an ideal hunting ground for the Hungarian outfit in today's qualifying that saw Norbert finishing fourth.
Two red flags and hot weather conditions had made it difficult for drivers and teams alike. However, Norbert managed a personal best lap of 1:59,709 minutes. This earned him a spot in the second row on the grid for tomorrow's Race 1 and second position behind his Yokohama Drivers' Trophy rival Hugo Valente. Plus, Norbert scored two valuable World Championship points for his fourth place finish in qualifying and, once again, he outpaced his fellow Honda drivers.
"I think we can be satisfied with the result", he says. "Getting into Q3 and finishing in fourth is something that I had expected. Hopefully we can have two clean races tomorrow and another podium finish."
