Norbert Michelisz and the MOL Group Zengő Motorsport team finished the 2015 FIA WTCC European season in style at Vila Real: The Hungarian outfit claimed their fourth podium result of the year by coming home in third in Race 1.

A strong fourth place finish in his no. 5 Honda Civic WTCC earned Norbert more valuable points in the second race. He now ranks fifth in the World Drivers' Championship standings and has successfully extended his lead in the Yokohama Drivers' Trophy, once again.

"I am happy with the result", Norbert said after Race 1 which had seen him take the flag behind World Drivers' Championship leader José María López and Sébastien Loeb in the all-dominating Citroën works cars. "I knew that there was a chance for a podium finish. The key moment was the start. I focused a lot and fortunately I got a good start. After that I concentrated on not doing any mistakes. It was quite difficult because of the heat."

"The second race was eventful", Norbert continues. "After the start it was difficult to judge which line to choose in order not to get involved in the crash between Tiago and Jaap. I was lucky enough to avoid the two cars. After that I tried to do a clever race. The overtaking move against Nick was right on the edge. At one point we were three cars side-by-side. But I was on the inside line and even though I got a hit from behind I was able to collect the car. Then, I brought the car home in fourth. So all in all it was a very positive weekend for us. I am happy to have finished both races and to have collected a lot of points."
