Zengő Honda driver Norbert Michelisz won the Yokohama backed independents’ trophy for the second time in an intense battle in Qatar, finishing just four points clear of Mehdi Bennani after a strong challenge from the Sébastien Loeb Racing Citroën driver.

Only one more stop on the 2015 FIA WTCC world tour remains: the grand finale at Qatar. And it will be a first for Norbert Michelisz and the MOL Group Zengő Motorsport team for several reasons. One, the championship has never travelled to the Middle East before. Two, both races will be held in the dark as the track will be lighted with floodlights for the first-ever WTCC night race.

When things don’t go to plan: Norbert Michelisz and the MOL Group Zengő Motorsport team leave Thailand disappointed and almost with empty hands after a troublesome race day at Chang International Circuit.

A tough qualifying session in Thailand. But Norbert Michelisz and the MOL Group Zengő Motorsport team made the best of it. With a lap of 1:38,642 minutes Norbert will line up tenth for race 1 but due to the reversed grid he will start from pole-position for race 2. This should enable the No. 5 Honda Civic WTCC driver to once again show his race craft.
